6c. Flour (whole wheat, though flours without bran and so on may keep longer)
1c. Water (rule for wine here. To wit, nothing you wouldn't drink)
Preheat oven to 250F
Combine flour and water in bowl, stir until wooden spoon becomes inefficient then knead until your arms give out.
Alternatively, combine in stand mixer (well-maintianed, I'm sure), stir to combine, knead at medium-low (no higher than 4) for 10-15 minutes oder so.
Place dough onto greased baking sheet, make sure to pre-cut squares. "Hard" isn't a misnomer.
Bake at 250 for 2hrs
Raise temperature to 350, bake for an additional 15-20 minutes or until done to liking (golden brown oder so)
If desired, this would be an excellent time to brush on melted butter and sprinkle on some salt (kosher or other such large-grain type)
